i want to be the king of the jungle

I guess this past week has tired me out more than i thought it did, i managed to fall asleep at around 2am and slept soundly for 11 hours. i would’ve passed out at 9pm if it hadn’t been for the ginseng /pomegranate juice i drank before the 3 hour studio (which, is exactly what i imagine hell would be like: 3 hours of critique of shit that doesn’t make sense and like lok said, with britney spears in the background singing “GIMME GIMME…”) you wouldn’t think sitting and listening for 3 hours is painful, but you just haven’t suffered it yet. try taking a ubc visual arts course with manuel and you will know. OH YOU WILL KNOW.

i was starting to feel sick, too. maybe that’s why i slept for so long. to be honest, it’s because i really, really like to sleep. what’s so wrong with that?

i wish i were a male lion. then i could sleep for 20 hours a day and make my bitches do all the work. that, would be so sweet.

and no wonder the lion is the king of the jungle… they copulate twenty to fourty times a day for several days during mating season! thats a lot of sex in a day!

i’m learning all these weird lion facts, it’s interesting to me because i have a soft spot for big, hairy animals. like my boyfriend. AHAHAHAA.

so tigers and lions have been bred together and they make little tigons and ligers, which sound really weird but in the end they just look like big, fluffy kitties :love: kitties kitties kitties! loooove!

harper’s bizarre

ahhhh okay i can’t do this, it’s just too damn stressfulllllll *rips out hair* i have my 8-page paper worth 50% due tomorrow morning at 9:30 and i’m only halfway done :mad: and my visual arts project is not really coming along either :cry: !!! i just had a new idea today, using harper’s bazaar to make my detournment piece. we’re supposed to use a book, basically mess it up and present it… i’m reading about detournment and it’s basically mimicking the original to send the opposite message, so i was thinking of making harper’s bazaar into harper’s bizarre. i guess i’m lucky because some of the shoots and editorials in the issue are quite weird, so it shouldn’t be too hard to make it into some kind of.. freak-show book on materialism. MEEPMEEPMEEP.

okay back to writing … *eye twitch*

at 9pm my friend tells me we’re not supposed to use magazines. thanks to my poor attendance (even in class my attendance is poor because im not literally all “there”, you know? thinking about se7en etc etc) so at 9pm i felt really FUCKED OVER, but fortunately the guy in my class who’s really deep and reads a lot gave me a new idea. i got my anthology of poetry from last year and he said make a new poem out of the words……………………..

so i ended up whiting out a lot of things on two pages.

i hope it’s enough. I NEED 61% in this course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE GOD!!!!!!! PREASE BUDDHA!!!!!!! PREAASE PREASE PREASE HALLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!

another weekend gone

augusto is fine, thanks for the comments regarding his sickness, he’s not floaty anymore! :D another weekend gone, as usual. worked today, not going to lecture tomorrow because i have to write my paper. bahhhh i hate papers. i owe the library like a million dollars too, because i got the books a month ago and now im finally writing my paper harharharhahr… i hope they let me take the final exam, or else i’m going to have to pay my fines because uni is evil like that :(
